The Weight Discrepancies Management module in Skyship facilitates the resolution of shipment weight discrepancies by allowing administrators to update shipment details and adjust customer prepaid wallets accordingly. This module provides a streamlined process for managing discrepancies, ensuring accurate billing and customer satisfaction.
Key Features:
Upload Data via Excel Template:
Data Entry: Admins can upload shipment data using a provided Excel template, specifying AWB (Air Waybill) numbers and updated shipment weights and dimensions.
Bulk Upload: Streamline the process by importing multiple updates at once, enhancing operational efficiency.
Calculate New Shipment Pricing:
Automated Calculation: Upon data upload, the system automatically recalculates shipment pricing based on the updated weight and dimensions.
Adjustment in Wallet: Credit the customer's prepaid wallet for any overcharged amount and debit for any additional charges based on the updated shipment details.
View Import Log:
Audit Trail: Access the import log to review which rates were applied to each shipment after the data upload.
Transparency: Ensure transparency in billing adjustments and shipment pricing updates.
How to Use:
Access Weight Discrepancies Management:
Navigate to the Weight Discrepancies module from the admin dashboard.
Upload Shipment Data:
Download the provided Excel template and populate it with AWB numbers and revised shipment details (weight and dimensions).
Upload the completed template to apply the changes to the system.
Review and Adjust:
Monitor the import log to verify which rates were applied to each shipment after the data upload.
Review wallet transactions to ensure accurate adjustment of prepaid balances based on updated shipment pricing.
