Dispatchers Management

The Dispatchers Management module in Skyship enables administrators to manage dispatchers who can book and manage shipments on behalf of customers within the system. Administrators have the ability to add, edit, delete, activate, or deactivate dispatcher accounts as needed. Additionally, administrators can assign customers to specific dispatchers, granting them the authority to perform shipment-related tasks on behalf of those customers. Dispatchers access the system using the same admin URL, ensuring centralized management and operational oversight.

Key Functions:

  1. User Administration:

    • Add Users: Create new dispatcher accounts by entering necessary details such as username, email, and password.

    • Edit Users: Modify existing dispatcher profiles to update personal information or adjust permissions.

    • Delete Users: Remove dispatcher accounts that are no longer required within the system.

    • Activate/Deactivate Users: Enable or disable dispatcher accounts to control access based on operational needs.

  2. Customer Assignment:

    • Assign Customers: Allocate specific customers to individual dispatchers, allowing them to manage shipments on behalf of assigned customers.

    • Customer Management: Administrators can reassign customers or update dispatcher assignments as business needs evolve.

  3. Login and Access:

    • Unified Login: Dispatchers access the system using the same admin URL as administrators, logging in with their designated credentials.

    • Customer-centric Operations: Once assigned, dispatchers can book shipments, manage orders, and perform related tasks on behalf of assigned customers.

How to Use:

  1. Access Dispatchers Management:

    • Navigate to the Dispatchers Management module from the admin dashboard.

  2. Manage Dispatcher Accounts:

    • Create, edit, delete, activate, or deactivate dispatcher accounts as per organizational requirements.

    • Assign specific customers to dispatchers to facilitate seamless management of customer shipments.

  3. Enhance Operational Efficiency:

    • Streamline shipment management by empowering dispatchers to handle customer-specific tasks within the system.
