State Management

Click on Country Name: By clicking on a country name, administrators can easily navigate to the list of states within that country. This provides a seamless transition to managing more detailed geographical data.

State Management

The State Management feature in Skyship allows administrators to manage the list of states within each country. This includes searching, adding, editing, and deleting states, as well as importing states in bulk using an Excel file.

Key Features:

  1. Navigate to State Management:

    • Access via Country Name: Click on a country name in the Country Management section to move into the State Management area. This seamless navigation ensures efficient data management across different geographical levels.

  2. Search States:

    • Quickly find specific states within the list using the search functionality. This helps in efficiently managing and locating state data.

  3. Add States:

    • Add New State: Easily add new states to the system by entering the required details. This ensures that the list of states within each country is comprehensive and up-to-date.

  4. Edit States:

    • Update State Information: Modify existing state details to reflect changes or correct information, ensuring accuracy in the geographical data maintained in the system.

  5. Delete States:

    • Remove States: Delete states that are no longer relevant or required. This helps maintain a clean and accurate list of states.

  6. Bulk Import States:

    • Import Option: Upload multiple states at once using the bulk import feature. This is particularly useful for managing large datasets.

    • Sample Template: Download the sample Excel template, adjust the data as necessary, and import the file back into the system to add or update states in bulk.

How to Use:

  1. Access State Management:

    • Click on a country name in the Country Management section to move to the list of states for that country.

  2. Search for a State:

    • Use the search bar to quickly locate a specific state within the list.

  3. Add a New State:

    • Click on the "Add State" button, enter the necessary details, and save the new state to the list.

  4. Edit an Existing State:

    • Select a state from the list, click on the edit option, update the required information, and save the changes.

  5. Delete a State:

    • Select the state to be removed, click on the delete option, and confirm the deletion.

  6. Bulk Import States:

    • Download the sample Excel template, fill in the state data, and use the import option to upload the data into the system.
